Clinical Research Units

Facilities are available to University of Minnesota research teams for clinical research visits.

A new “phase 1” clinical research unit in the Phillips-Wangensteen Building.

Supports outpatient research visits, offering exam and consultation rooms, specialized pediatric facilities, and convenient, free parking for participants.

Offers specialized facilities and equipment for cardiovascular studies, including Echocardiography, and a Stress Test Laboratory.

Houses 37 adult medical specialties, ranging from primary care to neurology to cardiology.

Note that the Masonic Clinical Research Unit (MCRU) vacated the Masonic Memorial Building (MMB) in November 2017. What this means for studies that had been using MCRU.
