Classrooms and technology
Academic Health Center (AHC) Classroom Services unit, located within the AHC Office of Facilities and Capital Planning, ensures that our classroom environments support the unique and dynamic nature of AHC curriculum. We coordinate scheduling, maintenance, security and technology of 47 rooms on both the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.
AHC Classroom Services is an advocate for all teaching spaces within the AHC. We work with and between schools and departments to facilitate solutions to teaching space needs. In this capacity we represent classrooms and study spaces at AHC security meetings, work with Facilities Management on classroom conditions and serve as the reference source for classroom information for AHC administration.
We are a planning resource for the schools and programs of the Academic Health Center. Through our three major work areas – classroom scheduling, tech support and consultation with AHC school administration – we serve as a point of contact for input from students, faculty, staff, and administrators on classroom needs.

The 2018 University of Minnesota’s annual Community Fund Drive (CFD) campaign begins October 1. This annual event is our opportunity to give back to the community and foster a culture of caring and generosity across the AHC. This year, all monetary proceeds collected during our special events will go to supporting the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic (PNC), a free clinic operated by University of Minnesota health professional students.
