Chase Down Cancer: Join Chainbreaker
The time has come for you to get involved in Chainbreaker! 100% of every dollar raised by riders, virtual riders and volunteers will go directly towards life-saving cancer research at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota, a National Cancer Institute – designated comprehensive cancer center.
You can help in a variety of ways:
- Sign up to ride either individually or as part of a Peloton (riding team)
- Sign up to volunteer – An event this size requires many hands pitching in to make it a fun and successful weekend
- Spread the word – Talk to your friends and neighbors. Drop off brochures or posters at your local coffee shops, bike shops, gyms, etc.
Chainbreaker will take place this summer, from August 11 – 13. The event is modeled after the very successful Pelotonia event at Ohio State University, which raises millions for cancer research every year. Our event will offer bike ride options to match various skill levels, including 25, 50, 100 and 180-mile rides.
